LARGE AUGER
To provide continuous crop flow in all conditions, the SPARTAN has a 35 inch diameter floating auger. This feature, combined with the unique profile of the cutting discs, ensures uniform feeding and low horsepower requirements in all crop conditions.
CUTTER BAR
Each chopper disc is protected by a precision-etched drive shaft that is designed to shear cleanly in the event of a collision which stops the disc but allows the remainder of the cutter bar to keep turning. This exclusive design element in the SPARTAN cutter bar, combined with the modular replacement of chopper sub-assemblies in less than 5 minutes, prove once more that Capello is committed to keeping you in the field.
SKID SHOES
Multi-position skid shoes to set stubble height are easily adjustable and allow the SPARTAN to follow ground contours without scalping.
CONTINUOUS FEEDING
The fluctuating adapter plate enables the header to contour to the terrain to accommodate various crops such as: cereals, grass, clover, alfalfa, sunflowers, milo and sorghum.
EVERY DETAIL IS IMPORTANT
Quick-change knives dramatically reduce replacement time without the use of tools. Cutting discs are engineered with tight tolerances to provide a quality cut even in lodged or wet crop. Auger flighting, skid shoes, and key areas of the cutter bar are protected with replaceable, wear-resistant facing. Designed for quick maintenance and life cycle to provide optimal operation time.
